The owner guided us out before dawn for a deer hunt and knew every fold of those 198 acres. Patient, generous, and never in a hurry. Easily the finest guided morning I've had on private land.

Floating in that heated infinity pool with the valley stretching out for miles is something I still think about. Warm water, cool mountain air, and a horizon that simply does not end.

We had the entire mountain to ourselves for a week. No neighbors, no traffic, no schedule — just glass walls full of forest and the most complete quiet I've ever known. Pure solitude.

Every meal was prepared and waiting, each one better than the last. Being hosted this way meant we never lifted a finger — we just woke up, swam, hiked, and ate like royalty on the ridge.

The ATV trails wind for miles through forest you'd never reach on foot. We rode out to a ridgeline overlook at golden hour and just sat there grinning. My kids called it the best day of the year.
